Email and Silk Shorts

It is absolutely crucial that any agent conducting an Internet marketing campaign understand the correct use of email as well as the very powerful features in it that are available to them.

Silk Shorts provides its clients with the ability to use email addresses keyed to their site.  For instance you might have an advertising campaign for "Horse and Buggy Property".  Providing that the domain name "www.horseandbuggyproperty.com" is available at the time, we can provide a way for you to use "Information@horseandbuggyproperty.com as the email address in that ad.  You may have any number of custom email addresses tied to your site that will deliver inquiries to you regular email box.

That being said, Silk Shorts does NOT train you to use your email on your computer.  The setup and implementation of features on your computer are dependent on:

• The type of computer you use
• Whether you use more than one computer
• The email client (program) you use such as "Outlook Express", "Outlook", "Firefox", "Netscape", etc. 
• The version of the email client you use--and there are many
• The current configuration of your email client
• Whether or not you or your company uses an exchange server for email

We STRONGLY suggest that you or your assistant become familiar with your setup and that if you are not that you hire someone familiar with such problems to assist  you in setting up your email and to train you to use it properly.

Not following that suggestion is a virtual guarantee that you will waste time, lose sales opportunities, and ultimately lose data and customers as a result of spam, viruses, worms, and any other devilment that the cyberworld spawns.

We WILL set up the accounts necessary on your site and provide you or your assistant or your computer guru with all of the technical information concerning your site-based email needed to accomplish the setup of your system.
